My name is Fr. Joseph Son Nguyen; I was born and raised in the south of Vietnam. In 2011, I began the formation program at Saint Patrick’s Seminary in Menlo Park; after six years studied at St. Patrick, I was ordained to the diaconate in April 2016 by the Most Reverend Stephen E. Blaire. On May 20, 2017 with the help and grace of God, Bishop Stephen E. Blaire ordained me to the priesthood at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Stockton. After my ordination, I was assigned to serve at the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Stockton until the end of September 2019. I am so excited to be part of the faith community at St. Bernard’s Church. Thank you for praying for my priestly ministry and please continue to pray that I may always be a faithful servant of God.
