We have received word from a number of sources that Alejandro Sullon has been offering his services as a Bishop to celebrate Sacraments. He presents himself as the ‘Bishop of Bakersfield’. He is from Peru and also advertises himself as the Bishop of the Diocese of the Lord of Divine Mercy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Please let your community know that Sullon is not a Bishop of the Roman Catholic Church, he is not in union with Pope Francis nor with the Bishop of Stockton. He has no permission or faculties to celebrate Sacraments in the Diocese of Stockton.
