Planning for the 2018 St Bernard's VBS program is under way and would not be a success without volunteers. There are many different ways you could volunteer your time. On Thursday, March 22nd, at 6:00 pm, Bishop Cotta and the Priests of the Diocese of Stockton will gather at the Cathedral of the Annunciation to con-celebrate the annual Chrism Mass. The Bishop blesses and consecrates the sacred oils to be used throughout the year ahead for baptism, confirmation, ordination, anointing of the catechumens and anointing of the sick. At this Mass, all the priests of the Diocese renew their priestly vows. All are invited to attend. ** THERE WILL NOT BE A 5:30PM MASS OR EUCHARISTIC SERVICE AT ST. BERNARD'S THAT EVENING. It will resume on Friday.

Palm Sunday is April 14, 2019 and marks the last Sunday of Lent, and commemorates the beginning of Holy Week - the arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before he was crucified. Mass times will follow our regular Sunday schedule.

Join us for the Knights of Columbus St Patrick's Dinner, Saturday, March 17th. 6:00pm social hour with dinner at 7:00pm. Chef Randy Whetstone will be cooking all the food at the Father Fleming hall kitchen. Menu is Corned beef and cabbage with all the fixings and dessert. Rotisserie chicken is available on request. If you would like to make a donation towards the Easter Flowers and Easter Decorations in honor of, or in memory of a loved one, please stop by the Parish Office to fill out an Easter Flower envelope. There is a $10.00 donation for each name published. The deadline for submitting these names is Thursday, March 15, 2018. The names of your loved ones will be published in the Easter Sunday Bulletin.
