Welcome, Joe Curtis!

     Hello, my name is Joe Curtis, and I am the new Parish Life Administrator for St. Bernard’s Church. I was born and raised in Stockton and have been a member of St. Luke’s Parish my entire life. I have spent roughly 25 years of my professional life in the insurance business. Nearly half of that time was spent operating my own insurance agencies in different cities. I also taught business math and substitute taught at St. Mary’s High School for multiple years.

     Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering and spending time in my community! I currently sit on two boards, one for the Mayor of the City of Stockton and one for the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors. I have been an active member of the St. Luke’s Parish and School Finance Council for more than 15 years. I am also a big sports fan; I love to both play and watch! I enjoy spending time on the golf course and currently, I am part of the Varsity Football coaching staff at St. Mary’s. I have three daughters; two of whom reside in Stockton and one in Dallas, Texas.

     My goal in this new position is to help St. Bernard’s achieve their goals and grow the Parish community!
