Straw-Bale Raising Event
With the Verbum Dei Sister

 
     The walls of the beautiful Chapel at the Spirituality Center (31448 Hwy 33, Tracy) will be straw-bales in the manner of an Ancient Sustainable Building construction.  Under the guidance of the CASBA (California Straw Bale Association) young and old (16+) are invited to have fun together with great food, learning how to build sustainably with hands on experience. 
 
A unique opportunity to participate in a two day straw bale building workshop!  October 5 -6 from 9 am to 6 pm.
Participation required at least for one full day.
